HC Deb 02 August 1911 vol 29 c542

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That this House do now adjourn."—[Mr. Gulland.]

Lord BALCARRES

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, I think, wants to make a statement.

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

Yes. The understanding was that we should adjourn on Clause 15, and on Friday take Clauses 16 and 17 without the suspension of the Five o'clock rule.

Question put, and agreed to.

Adjourned accordingly at Twenty minutes-after Two a.m., Thursday, 3rd August, 1911.
