§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Tennant)The latest figures available are those for the twelve months ended June 30th, during which period 288,503,000 lbs. of tea were cleared for home consumption, as against 274,105,000 lbs. in the previous twelve months. No separate figures are available with regard to the quantity of Java tea cleared for home consumption, but I will have a statement showing the quantities imported from the other sources mentioned in the question printed with the Votes.— [See Written Answers this date.]
