§ Mr. BOLANDasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Congested Districts Board will negotiate with Mr. Daniel O'Connell, of Darrynane, for the sale of his estate at Cloghvoola; and whether, in view of the fact that the tenants sent a memorial to the Board on 31st January, 1910, on this subject, that no notice has been taken of their request, and that legal proceedings are now pending against the tenants, steps will be taken to complete the sale?
Mr. DUDLEY WARDThe Congested Districts Board inform me that a memorial has been received from the tenants on the estate referred to. The owner, Mr. Daniel O'Connell, has recently written to the Board stating he is willing to open negotiations for the sale of his estate.
