§ The PRIME MINISTERI have looked into this matter, and I find that there would be very considerable difficulties in obtaining the Return for which the hon. Member asks. I think he may take it from me that it is practically impossible to obtain a complete Return sufficiently accurate to be of value. I may, however, inform the hon. Member that the sum received from rates by the Central Body for London and by the Distress Committees throughout England and Wales in the year ending 31st March, 1910, was £68,069.
