HC Deb 11 April 1911 vol 24 c223
Mr. POINTER

asked the date of the last despatch from his Department to the Governor of Malta, in which the Governor was authorised, according to the statement of the tentative Governor, to state publicly, whenever he considers it desirable to do so, that His Majesty's Government, as at present advised, have no intention of reconsidering the question of the Constitution of Malta; and if the Colonial Secretary will say whether that statement exactly conveys the purport of the despatch?

Mr. HARCOURT

The answer to the first question is 13th January; and to the second question, yes.
