§ Sir FORTESCUE FLANNERYasked what are the references to the legal decisions as to premium bonds upon which the restriction as to transmission of notifications relating to premium bonds drawn is based by the Post Office authorities; and whether the decision or decisions upon which the Post Office relies will be referred to the Law Officers of the Crown, with a view to their advising whether the restriction could be lawfully removed, having regard to the loss and inconvenience suffered by so many British subjects who have invested in such bonds.
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELThe decision is the judgment of Mr. Justice Swinfen Eady in the case of in re The International Securities Corporation (Limited) (24 T.L.R. 837). I see no ground upon which I can properly make a reference to the Law Officers of the Crown.
