§ Mr. LYNCHasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that in order to assimilate an all-night sitting to a normal sitting it is considered advisable to deduct eight hours out of eleven occupied beyond the regular limit of a Parliamentary day, he will make arrangements to avoid the recurrence of such conditions?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI cannot admit the assumption which underlies the hon. 1805 Member's question. The deduction which for the purposes of the argument I made the other day was, as I stated at the time, one of extravagant generosity.
