asked the Secretary of State for India whether the reply of the Government of India regarding the question of awards for the defence of Kut has now been received, and when a statement may be expected as to what steps it is proposed to take to give due recognition to the officers, non-commissioned officers, and men, both British and Indian, who were engaged in that gallant defence?
