asked the Prime Minister whether he can state any authority in international law for the continuance of the blockade after the Armistice?

Mr. BONAR LAW

So far as I know, such questions are not in any way regulated by international law, but depend upon the terms granted in the Armistice, and these terms are contained in Article 26 of the terms.
