Private Bills [Lords] (Standing Orders not previously inquired into complied with), —Mr. Speaker laid upon the Table Report from one of the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills, That, in the case of the following Bill, originating in the Lords, and referred on the First Reading thereof, the Standing Orders not previously inquired into, and which are applicable thereto, have been complied with, namely:—

Ordered, That it be an Instruction to the Committee on the Bill that they have power to inquire whether the promoters have made adequate provision by the Bill for the supply of water at reasonable rates to the agricultural community within the area of supply, and to any person or per- sons from whom any existing or natural supply is, or may be, withdrawn owing to the works or undertakings authorised by the Bill, and that they further have power to insert in the Bill such Clause or Clauses as they think necessary to impose upon the promoters the obligation to provide such supply.—[Mr. Stanier.]
