§ Mr. HOBHOUSEThe Regulations dated 20th August, 1908, referred to in the question were provisional Regulations only. They were superseded by the substantive Regulations, dated 15th October, 1908, which were duly presented to both Houses as provided by the Act. These were ordered by the House of Commons to be printed on 19th October, 1908, and copies were supplied forthwith to pension officers and pension committees. No subsequent Regulations have been made.
