HC Deb 29 March 1910 vol 15 c1147
Mr. BELLOC

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there had been any question of abrogating the privileges of extra-territoriality enjoyed by missionaries and mission schools in the Turkish Empire; whether negotiations, in view of such a change, were in progress; and, if so, what space of time such missionaries and mission schools may look forward to during which they should still enjoy such privileges?

Sir E. GREY

So far as I am aware, no question of abrogating the existing privileges of foreign missionaries and mission, schools in the Turkish Empire has been raised by the Turkish Government, and no negotiations on the subject are in progress.
