HC Deb 16 March 1910 vol 15 c346
Mr. C. DUNCAN (for Mr. Barnes)

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention had been called to the recent outbreak of cow-pox at Vale Farm, Pinner Road, Sudbury, as a result of which four persons contracted the disease; and whether he would consider the advisability of extending the Workmen's Compensation Act to cover this and other diseases of a similar nature?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The Secretary of State's attention had not previously been called to this outbreak, but he has received the particulars which the hon. Member has been good enough to send him, and he will make inquiry into the subject, and also consider the point raised in the last part of the question.
