HC Deb 14 March 1910 vol 15 c25
Captain CRAIG

asked the Prime Minister whether he will grant facilities for the passage of the Irish National Schools (Heating and Cleansing) Bill, in view of the fact that in its present shape it meets with the approval of all classes and creeds in Ireland?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am afraid I cannot promise facilities for any private Member's Bill.

Captain CRAIG

May I ask whether the right hon. Gentleman is aware that the annual cost of this much-needed reform, as stated by the Chief Secretary for Ireland, is equal to the exact amount the Government are losing each week by their present muddling finance?
