HC Deb 09 March 1910 vol 14 c1478
Mr. HACKETT

asked if the Estates Commissioners have received a memorial from the landholders and labourers Of the locality asking them to distribute the turbary on the Langley estate, at Longford Pass, county Tipperary, amongst themselves and others in the district who have no turbary right; and what steps the Estates Commissioners propose to take with a view to distribute these turbary rights?

Mr. BIRRELL

As I have already informed the hon. Member, in reply to the question on the same subject asked by him on the 7th instant, the offer of the Estates Commissioners for these lands has been accepted, but no scheme for their distribution can be made until they have been vested in the Commissioners.
