§ Mr. SPEAKERWith reference to this Bill, it is one which seeks to empower the Society of Apothecaries of London to grant diplomas in sanitary science, public health, State medicine, school hygiene, and tropical medicine, and also for dentistry and dental surgery, and for that purpose to hold examinations. I have considered the matter very carefully, and I have come to the conclusion that this is a Bill which ought not to proceed as a private Bill, but must proceed as a public Bill, as it deals with public interests.
