HC Deb 30 June 1910 vol 18 cc1105-6
Mr. WEDGWOOD

asked the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the general importance and volume of work performed at the Tunstall sub-office, and the fact that the units of work at that office are not credited to the county borough of Stoke-on-Trent, of which it forms a part, he will consider the advisability of raising the Tunstall sub-office to the level of a branch office, and so secure to the combined townships the full benefit of the amount of work performed?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I will make inquiry and consider whether the circumstances justify the conversion of the Tun- stall post office to the rank of a branch office.
