§ The Land Value Duties are very difficult to estimate, for the simple reason that we have not got our machinery for valuation set up. We expect to receive from the Mineral Rights Duty £350,000, from the Undeveloped Land Duty £140,000, and from Reversion Duty £90,000. The Increment Value Duty, of course, will be very small for the first year. The total is £600,000. The Committee will bear in mind that instead of being in the second year of our Land Value Duties we are practically in the first year, for the simple reason that we were not allowed to set up our machinery of valuation.
