HC Deb 29 June 1910 vol 18 c946
Mr. BOYTON

asked whether, after 30th June, a retailer of beer, spirits, and wines, who holds retail licences for more than one set of premises, will be allowed to send beer, spirits, or wines in retail quantities from one of his licensed houses to another of his licensed houses without taking up a wholesale dealers' licence?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

The answer is in the affirmative, provided that the business carried on upon the premises from which the liquor is sent and that carried on upon the premises to which it is removed are owned, and entry of both sets of premises under the laws of Excise has been duly made, by the same person; but care must be taken that each delivery of spirits is accompanied by a proper certificate.
