§ Mr. FELLasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will consider the question of introducing legislation to amend the Companies Acts in the direction of limiting, in the case of new companies, the amount of share capital which may be left uncalled, so that within twelve months of any issue of shares not less than one-half of the nominal value of the shares shall be called up, and the liability of the shareholders limited to an amount equal to the amount paid up on their share holding?
