§ Mr. STANIERasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture 1455 whether he can publish the report of the veterinary surgeon on the death of calves on Mr. Sillitoe's farm at Newport, Salop?
§ Sir EDWARD STRACHEYOne of the Board's veterinary inspectors visited Mr. Sillitoe's farm and arranged that a calf, which was thought to be suffering from the disease from which others had died, should be killed and examined. No signs of distinct disease were, however, apparent. The owner has since called in his own veterinary adviser, and we have no information that any further losses have occurred.
