Captain CRAIGasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, whether he will give the number and total immediate amount paid per annum to the new officials, permanent and temporary, respectively, who have been appointed in Ireland up to the close of the year 1909 in consequence of legislation passed by the present Government?

§ But for the reasons stated in the notes to the Return, the figures for the Registry of Titles and for the Irish Land Commission could not be given. I have no information as to the number of officials of other departments who have been appointed in Ireland.
