§ Mr. PETOasked the Prime Minister if he will suggest as a subject of debate at the next Colonial Conference the question of the unification of all laws relating to trade marks and patents within the British Empire?
§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Colonel Seely)This question was before the Colonial Conference of 1907, and correspondence will be laid in a few days showing the action taken on the resolution of that Conference. In view of this correspondence, I do not consider, as at present advised, that the matter can be usefully discussed at the next Conference.
