Mr. DUNCAN MILLARasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, having regard to the injury done by trawlers to the spawning beds along the coasts of Scotland and England, and in the destruction of immature fish and to the consequent depletion of the fishing grounds along our coasts, he will consider as to approaching the foreign Powers signatories of the North Sea Convention of 1882 with a view to obtaining their assent to the extension of the present limits within which trawling is prohibited?
