HC Deb 27 July 1910 vol 19 c2096
Sir ALFRED GELDER

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether the Lindsey County Council have yet been able to supply any of the applications for small holdings already approved in the Brigg Division; and, if not, will he bring pressure to bear upon the county council to proceed without further delay to meet the demands of applicants under the Small Holdings Act?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Sir Edward Strachey)

The Board are informed by the clerk to the county council that inquiries are being actively made for suitable land to satisfy the demand for small holdings in the county. The Board propose to instruct one of their inspectors to visit the district and to report on the position.
