HC Deb 27 July 1910 vol 19 c2110
Mr. MORTON

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether the Report of the engineer who attended the International Congrès de la Route, held at Paris in 1908, will be published; and, if not, will he say why this is not to be done; whether the cost of the visit was paid out of public moneys; and, if so, what was the amount?

Mr. BURNS

The cost of the visit of the Board's representative to the Roads Congress at Paris in 1908 was defrayed out of public moneys, and amounted to £19 5s. 1d. He made a Report to the Board, but I did not think it necessary that it should be published.

Mr. MORTON

Can I have a copy of the Report?

Mr. BURNS

The hon. Member can look at my copy.
