§ Mr. GINNELLasked whether the Estates Commissioners make themselves acquainted with the terms upon which a landlord agrees to sell and his tenants to buy, and afterwards enforce those terms by withholding the price until the terms have been carried out; whether they are aware of the rights of pasture on the Tubberquill untenanted farm, secured by the terms of sale to small tenants on the Levinge estate, Knockdrin, Westmeath; and whether they will require either those rights to be continued or that farm to be distributed among those most in need of it?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners exercise their jurisdiction in accordance with the provisions of the Irish Land Acts and the rules and regulations made thereunder. Any claims made by the purchasing tenants on the estate referred to will be inquired into when the Commissioners are dealing with the estate.
