§ Mr. UREI am aware of the accident referred to in the hon. Member's question. A public inquiry was recently held into the occurrence under the Fatal Accidents Inquiry Acts, when the jury returned a verdict, inter alia, finding that the rifles and ammunition used were unsuitable for shooting at a fair where crowds were collected in the immediate vicinity. I am considering what steps, if any, can be taken under the existing law to prevent such accidents in the future.
