HC Deb 20 July 1910 vol 19 c1257
Mr. ELVERSTON

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade a question, of which I have given him private notice—what steps, if any, he is taking, or proposes to take, to bring the strike among the shunters and other servants on the North-Eastern Railway, to a satisfactory end?

Mr. SYDNEY BUXTON

I have made such inquiries as are in my power. Information in regard to the position of affairs appears at present to be very meagre. The whole matter will be very carefully watched by the Board of Trade.
