§ Mr. WATT (for Mr. Charles Price)asked the Secretary to the Treasury (1) whether the sum of £21,000 in Class 4 of the Supplementary Estimates, 1910–11, was to be applied to the Scottish universities; whether that sum was to be taken as the full amount of the Grant to be made; and whether he was aware that –42,000 was the sum recommended by the Commission appointed to inquire into the subject; and (2) how the amount of the new Grant to the Scottish universities was to be allocated among them?
