HC Deb 14 July 1910 vol 19 c615
Mr. GEORGE ROBERTS

asked whether some of the men in the Woolwich Arsenal division of the Metropolitan police have not yet received the two days' extra pay granted for services rendered during the late King's funeral; if so, will he take steps to remedy the grievance?

Mr. CHURCHILL

All the men attached to Woolwich Arsenal who did special duty in the streets in addition to the ordinary duty for which their services are paid by the War Department, and all who had extra work put upon them, directly or indirectly, in connection with the funeral of the late King have, I am given to understand, received the extra two days' pay.
