HC Deb 12 July 1910 vol 19 c200
Captain COOPER

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been called to the fact that the Board of Visitors of the National Museum, Dublin, have reported that the salary of the keeper of the natural history department of the museum has not been increased for fifteen years, and is altogether inadequate; and whether he will urge the Treasury to sanction an increase?

Mr. BIRRELL

I understand that, as recently as 23rd June, 1909, the Treasury sanctioned an increase of £100 to the salary of the official referred to.
