HC Deb 23 February 1910 vol 14 c200
Mr. MEYSEY-THOMPSON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, if he will state how many repairing stations have been in whole or in part depleted of their stores and equipment; and what steps do the Government propose to take to make these stations thoroughly efficient?

Mr. McKENNA

There has been no change in this matter since the decision taken by the Conservative Government in 1905, with regard to which the hon. Gentleman will find full particulars in the memorandum entitled, "A Statement of Admiralty Policy," and the notes appended thereto, presented to Parliament by that Government shortly before they left office.
