§ The FIRST COMMISSIONER of WORKS (Mr. Harcourt)No, Sir. The legal negotiations for the acquisition of the site are still in hand. As the property to be acquired has not yet been transferred to the Government, my Department has no control over any arrangements which the present owner may have made in respect of bill-posting.
§ Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKEMay I ask if the work will be commenced before the end of the year?
§ Mr. HARCOURTI should hope so, as soon as the legal arrangements are completed.
