§ Mr. HENNIKER HEATONasked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been called to the resolution unanimously passed by the Corporation of the City of London on Thursday last, that the court, recognising the great social and commercial advantages which have resulted from the progress already made towards the ultimate adoption of a universal penny postage system, trusted that His Majesty's Government would now further assist and support that movement by endeavouring to secure its early establishment between England and France; and whether he intends to take any action on this appeal?
