HC Deb 21 April 1910 vol 16 c2322
Mr. LANE-FOX

asked the President of the Board of Education whether he proposed to issue to the West Riding education authority a similar circular to that recently issued to the Lancashire authority in the matter of school buildings; and, if so, when that circular would be issued?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of EDUCATION (Mr. Trevelyan)

A similar procedure will certainly be adopted in the case of the West Riding if necessary, but it is impossible to state the date at which any particular area will be dealt with, as the preparation of the schedule involves much labour and takes time. I may say, however, that the Board have little reason to feel dissatisfied with the rate of progress which is being made in the West Riding in the improvement of school premises.
