HC Deb 21 April 1910 vol 16 c2300
Mr. JOHN O'DONNELL

asked whether the Congested Districts Board has received petitions from representatives of several bodies of tenants in the Ballinrobe union, county Mayo, requesting that body to purchase the various estates within that union, with a view to having a general migratory scheme put into operation all over that area and the grazing lands divided up in such a manner as will enable those living within the confines of that area in congested villages to be settled down as nearly as possible to their old homesteads?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Congested Districts Board have received memorials from tenants in the Ballinrobe Union asking that various estates may be purchased. The Board will communicate with the owners of the properties in question.
