§ Mr. HOBHOUSEAs this question relates to education in Scotland and Ireland, I must ask the hon. Member to address his inquiries to my right hon. Friends the Lord Advocate and the Chief Secretary respectively, who are responsible for education in the two countries.

§ Mr. HOBHOUSEYes; the totals, but it is quite impossible, in order to obtain uniform statements in the House, for me to reply to these questions. He will get the information he seeks if he applies to the two Departments. He has only to put a question down to another Minister.
