asked how many officers and men are being trained for aeronautical work; and whether he would consider the advisability of combining naval and military experiments of this nature under a single and separate heading as an independent service?

Mr. McKENNA

The officers and men required for the airship under construction are being trained. With regard to the second part of the question, a representative of the Admiralty is associated with the Advisory Committee on Aeronautics. It is considered that this procedure meets all requirements.
