Major STANLEYasked whether the sending of the Budget of 1909 to the House of Lords is contingent on the Veto Resolutions having been disposed of by the House of Lords?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have nothing at present to add to the answer which I gave to a similar question addressed to me by the hon. and gallant Member last Thursday.
§ Mr. FELLasked if the same time and facilities will be given for the discussion and amendment of any new matter which may be introduced into the Budget for 1909–10, and of any omissions which may materially affect the same, as would be given in the case of a new Budget?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI can assure the hon. Member that in the event of any alterations being made in the Budget proper time will be given for their discussion.
