HC Deb 07 April 1910 vol 16 c600
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether it is with the permission of that Board that the Midland Great Western Railway Company of Ireland have, by neglect, allowed a culvert under the Royal Canal at Derry-more, on the borders of Westmeath and Meath, to be stopped and the water diverted to another channel, causing a large area of land to be flooded; and whether the Board of Trade will require that company to reopen the culvert and maintain the watercourse at its old level?

Mr. REDMOND BARRY

My right hon. Friend the Secretary to the Board of Trade has asked me to answer this question. It is disposed of by the answer which I have just given to a question on the same subject asked by the hon. Member.
