HC Deb 07 April 1910 vol 16 c594
Mr. HAZLETON

asked whether it was proposed to abolish the position of senior clerk in the offices of the Judge of the Chancery Division; and, if so, whether that precedent would be followed in the other offices of the High Court?

Mr. REDMOND BARRY

I understand that it was arranged in 1898 that the post of senior clerk in the office in question was to be abolished on the next vacancy. This arrangement has only recently come into effect. The offices of the High Court are not under the control of the Irish Government.
