§ Mr. STANIERasked whether the Board proposes to bring in for England and Wales Bills to prevent the spread of noxious weeds, and one to enable the testing of agricultural seed for purity and germination and the publication of results?
§ Sir E. STRACHEYThe working of the Weeds and Agricultural Seeds (Ireland) Act is being carefully watched, but the Board do not at present think it necessary to propose legislation on these subjects for England and Wales. They will be glad, however, to consider any representations which may be made to them respecting it by representative agricultural organisations.
§ Mr. STANIERIs the hon. Gentleman aware that many of the agricultural societies desire it?
