§ MR MACALEESE (Monaghan, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, what progress, if any, has been made with the erection of the new post office in Clones, resolved upon by the Department a very considerable time ago.
§ MR. HANBURYOwing to the strong local feeling displayed it has not yet been possible to obtain a site for a new post office within the limits of expense which the Department would be justified in incurring. The matter is still under inquiry.
