HC Deb 20 October 1899 vol 77 c382
MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been directed to the paragraph in the Report of the recent Commission on Intermediate Education in Ireland in which the Board of Intermediate Education is hampered by the provisions of the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Act under which the Board is constituted; and can he state when a Bill is likely to be introduced by the Government for the removal of the restrictions referred to in this Report.

MR. G. W. BALFOUR

The Report of the Commissioners is now under consideration by the Irish Government.
