I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies when it is proposed to introduce legislation with regard to the Australian Commonwealth Bill, the Enabling Bills of various Australian Colonies, and the Addresses to the Crown of the same Colonies.

The legislation is in a forward state of preparation, and it is hoped that the Australian Commonwealth Act will be passed early next year.
