§ Return ordered, "showing in respect of each of the financial years ending the 31st day of March 1890, to the 31st day of March 1899, inclusive,(1) theamount paid into the Bank of England to the Local Taxation (Scotland) Account under Section 1 of The Probate Duties (Scotland and Ireland) Act, 1888, and Sections 20 and 21 of The Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1889; (2) the payments made to each of the various objects under Sections 19 and 22 of The Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1889, as amended by The Education and Local Taxation (Scotland) Act, 1892, showing separately the balance which fell to be applied as an addition to the fee grant; (3) the average attendance of children on the annual grant list entitled to the fee grant; (4) the total amount distributed in payment of fee grant under the foregoing Acts, and also under The Local Taxation (Customs and Excise) Act, 1890, including, and stating separately, after the financial year ending the 31st day of March 1892, the amount paid out of moneys provided by Parliament towards relief of school fees under the Act of 1892; and (5) the amount per head of average attendance paid as fee grant."—(Mr. Caldwell.)
