HC Deb 08 May 1899 vol 71 c50
MR. BRYN ROBERTS (Carnarvonshire, Eifion)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies, whether he is aware that the correspondence with the South African Republic as to the dynamite concession has been published in the Transvaal; and, whether he can state when it will be in the hands of Members.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Mr. J. CHAMBERLAIN,) Birmingham, W.

The answer to the first question is in the affirmative. As to the second, I have to say that the correspondence will be laid on the Table at once.

MR. BRYN ROBERTS

DR. CLARK (Caithness)

Is the right honourable Gentleman aware of the fact that the concession was granted two years before the Convention?
