HC Deb 08 May 1899 vol 71 cc41-2
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate, whether the Secretary for Scotland is aware that the County and Chief District Sanitary Inspector for Ross and Cromarty states, on page 8 of his Report for the year 1898, that the water supply of Inver village, in the parish of Tain, is unsatisfactory; and, will he say what steps it is proposed to take with a view to provide the village with pure water.

* MR. A. GRAHAM MURRAY

I am informed by the Local Government Board that the annual report of the County Sanitary Inspector has only just been received by them; and that the Board, in accordance with their usual procedure, are in communication with the local authority of the Easter Ross district of the county regarding the water supply of Inver village.
