SCOTTI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Lord Cromer has given his official sanction not merely to the removal of the Mahdi's body from its tomb, but to its mutilation and the 338 throwing of the headless body into the Nile; and whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government in any way to express disapproval of these last proceedings?
